How did you find out the age spread initially?

Your first name is still pretty unusual. It's far more unusual than my first name, which is shared with almost 361,000 other people. On the other hand, there are only 114 people in the U.S. with my last name, which is why I assume I hit the magic #1.

This was in the very beginning of the web and I just searched and emailed. People could do things like that back then without others getting upset; I wouldn't dare do it now.
