I'll always be fond of it for introducing me to a lot of interesting people (ahem), but I think that Dreamwidth admirably fills my need for a long-form interactive blogging platform. I feel for people who were, or still are, tremendously emotionally invested in LJ, but I'll admit to a bit of impatience; the format is fulfilled nicely by Dreamwidth, but a few people (luckily, not within my LJ or DW acquaintances) seem bound and determined to dislike Dreamwidth. Nose, face, knife, etc. ....
