Well, being an entity of exquisitely weak will, I have rarely changed when first I decided the need for it; I have, occasionally, begun to change when I determined that neither the world, nor my own worst impulses were paying attention. Perhaps I should have referred to New Year's sneak attacks rather than resolutions or evolutions. Heh.
