Bread Dread
I didn't get my first try at whole wheat bread done. I got the yeast mix too hot. It didn't rise at all. Ended up throwing out a lovely smelling brown brick. Still, it's a learning process. I may try again tomorrow.
I also have to make beef stew tomorrow; we're having a friend over. Wish me luck.
Oh, and I've watched episodes 2 and 3 of Dr. Who. I imagine I'll have some thoughts soon.

I look forward, my head has been very... not engaged. HOWEVER. I have just watched episode 7 and my whole brain is MELTING. Dear god, RTD is a mad genius. I'd say just binge the rest of the season asap, because it's... *waves hands*

This made me smile, because that's exactly what I said to Bob. Silver linings can be a good thing. Heh.
Thanks; I have to get the stew meat chopped up, floured up, then put in the slow cooker sometime in the next 20 minutes. And then it's time to vacuum! I know how to have Saturday fun!

Well that's intriguing. I'd best get started on episodes 4 through 6. It all depends on what Bob can take. Sometimes he's up for binging, but at others, he backs away slowly. We shall see. Heh.

LOL. You have a way with words, for sure!

It's only 4 episodes, since the season is so SHORT. But damn. He's pulled it out of the bag, and then some. ETA: Of course presuming that he manages to stick the landing next week.

Thankee kindly (although there are some days when I can only converse in groans; old age is a bitch).
I've stayed away from most spoilers, but did get caught by a couple. I'm just pretending that I didn't see them. It seems to be working.

Ah yes. I am familiar with that one also.

Excellent. And to be fair, there is a lot of ~speculation~ that is just wishful thinking. What if Character A is actually So-and-so? It's a fun game. ETA: Remember when everyone was trying to work out who River was? And how generally they wanted her to be Romana? There is a lot of that going round this time too. ^_^
Also a small heads up: Episode 4 is written by the writer of Kerblam! Just to make you aware...

Heh ... I kind of remember that. I took no part in the speculation, at least I don't remember taking part. For me, River became a delightful mystery, and then an even more delightful person.

Interesting. I rather liked that episode, and was embarrassed when other folks pointed out the very corporatist viewpoint that was embedded in the story; I, a dedicated progressive, hadn't noticed it, or at least hadn't noticed it as a bad thing. In the end, I reminded myself that there are lots of episodes and adventures where the Doctor, for reasons of his, her, or their own, declines to undertake the role of lead revolutionary. Kerblam was just one of those incidents.
