I love Shadow in the North. :) And I am cautiously optimistic. He's very good in those movies. But his hair! That's some insane hair.

Ah, but then we've had some insane hair throughout the Doctor's history, neh? Not the least of which has graced the head of our most recent incarnation.

I know! And I do love David Tennant's hair. A lot. But I sort of feel like Eleven should be different! And that's some vaguely similar hair there. And Moffat apparently loves it. I think it doesn't help that he sort of reminds me of Tennant in face shape and body type. The distinct difference from one doctor to another in the past makes me feel, a little, like they're too similar.

I agree. He is rather alienish! (which seriously, that hair helps with.) I feel good about this. I'm glad it's not someone super well known. I haven't stopped in at TWoP yet--is it insane?

TWoP actually seems quite decent; a lot of people are either reasonably pleased, or at least willing to give Smith the benefit of the doubt. Jacob seems pleased, certainly.

I can't quite see the resemblance, because Smith's face, whilst alien, has rounder promontories, if you will. His lips are much less thin, his nose has a little more roundness, his eyes are not set quite as deeply, nor set in quite the same manner.

Yeah, I think you're right there. I haven't really seen enough clear pictures or video to judge well based on what I've seen recently--and while I remember him from the Ruby in the Smoke movies, I don't have his face memorized.

I definitely don't care that much. I just keep deleting one and adding another. It's more fun (for me) to keep it in flux.

I love having a paid account, and still regret that I couldn't put together the money for a permanent account, but I'm like you when it comes to icons. I have a file that's edging up into the three figures as to numbers of icons, and I try to swap a few out here and there on a regular basis. It's fun.
