Yeah, DT does happy, quirky, joyful, even irritated, almost effortlessly and that may be a reflection of what seems to be a basically sunny personality. And if he does anger and sorrow quietly, he can carry that off pretty darned well - certainly well enough to pull off a solidly respectable B+ on my own personal report card.
When he's Shouty McShoutypants? He's like nails on blackboard to me. My only thought is "He's got to be kidding, right? Right?"
When it comes to "Love and Monsters" I actually like everything about it except Peter whatshisface's Absorbaloff persona. I'm a fan of the meta in it, I really liked all of the actors, and I may have liked it for all the reasons that everyone else loathed it - the camp.
