No problem - the bar is open, and the bartender's gone through things like that herself.
I love this show because it's an enrichment of my life, not a substitution for it. But I understand, at least a little, the headspace that can nudge one, little by little, into obsessive devotion to anything. It's often a coping mechanism - an extremely dysfunctional one - for dealing with a life that one can't control. A long time ago, almost 20 years ago, I discovered myself in that space - call it Jupiter, because it was a long way from home. The symptom and coping mechanism wasn't a television show, it was a singer, but ... Jupiter's no place to live. Luckily, I was able to come home with help from folks I love and folks who knew what they're doing professionally. If your friend is going through anything like that, I can only hope she has folks like that.
