The editing and coding problems I had when I posted Despatches From the Rear last night, which more or less made it unpleasant reading on DW and incomplete reading over on LJ, have apparently been banished by dint of my taking a mental health break this afternoon and editing it yet again, this time removing all of the story below the first set of asterisks and putting them in again.
I did it on the Mac instead of the PC, but that probably has nothing to do with the situation.
I don't care. At least the story's readable now. Score one for the home team.
