And Now, The Time Has Come

... the end. Goodness, I can't believe I'm actually at this point, but we've reached Day 30 of the Doctor Who meme. I started it back on July 15 of last year, and I've had a great deal of fun with it. I don't know what I'm going to fill this journal with, now that it's done.

And here ... oh, here is a nearly-transcendent work of art about a very dimensionally transcendent blue box. She is – all my love for The Doctor notwithstanding – the heart of the Whoniverse, a reminder of lost Gallifrey, the keeper of the Last Time Lord, and a magnificent creature in Her own right.

Oh yes, the ToMD is priceless, isn't it? Every time I hear Mount Fandom go all asplodey, or when I think I'm going to go that way myself, I remember that, and a valuable sense of perspective is retrieved. Heh.

It's nice that there's a DW history to give us perspective. Sadly, though, it seems to be largely ignored in favor of fannish shouting, lol.
