Happy Birthday!

Three days ago, on Oct. 30, a woman I greatly admire had her birthday. viomisehunt, I'm sorry I missed wishing you a Happy Birthday on your actual natal day. I hope it was a good one, with family around (but not being annoying), with good books to read, with a chance to think and relax, and to look forward to a very, very good coming year. It's a pleasure to know you.

And while I'm at the birthday wishes, a very, very Happy Birthday to one of the nicest men I've had the honor of knowing. don_fitch, who very rarely haunts this section of the internet, is a gardener, a listener, a science fiction fan, and a true pleasure to know. May the world treat you well in the coming year.

My birthday is October 31, but thank you so much for thinking of me. I had to work on the actual day, but I enjoyed my Grandgirls for a nice meal yesterday. It is a pleasure to know and be acknowledged by you.
