They didn't tell us this was going to be a three-parter.
I don't think it's actually a three-parter, but Santa Claus turning up during the credits like "Doctor, you and Clara are not happy. Let's fix this." definitely makes it feel like it is one.
That was more my reaction to the very end, just a bit sardonic more than anything. But I'm holding on to hope because I believe in the Moffat who doesn't let people die. I think he's going to break my heart more, but I'm going to hope I'm wrong.
Nothing is ever forgotten, not completely. And if something can be remembered, it can come back.
As I told masakochan elsewhere, I'm going to trust the Moff I know, the one who tries, generally successfully, to save everyone. I'm undoubtedly opening myself to heartbreak that way, but it's the only way I know how to roll.
Spooks did have a tendency to kill off, well, everyone, yes. :-) (They're making a film now & we were discussing who could reappear in it, and everyone was like, um, who's left alive??)

Danny Pink wasted no time arguing what a good man should be. He was one.

I'm still processing, but one of the other things I get from this is "Oh. They didn't tell us this was going to be a three-parter."
