Yours was among the first fanfiction I ever read, and it will always be amongst the best I'll ever read. You have a gorgeously dark talent, all the more amazing coming from someone with as much kindness and consideration as you have. I hope life has been good for you thus far in 2015, and I hope the coming 365 days are full of creativity, sold stories, and no bears in the backyard!

Thank you for the kind words! Today has been a day of hot tea, good fiction, funny phone calls, and pistachio ice cream. The roofers arrived last week. For the first time in I-don't-know-how-many-years there's no draft in the back rooms. Not a breath of it. I'm starting to feel a little safer knowing the house may not fall down around me. They should be done with all the repairs in about two weeks.

I'm working on the sold-fiction part. I expect to be doing giveaways in the next month or so. Watch this space... 8)

Hurrah for house repairs that make places cosier and warmer; my next big fixit wish is to put blow-in insulation behind the walls of our tiny condo, at least on the west and north sides, and then, should thousands of new dollars suddenly show up in my bank account, replacing all my windows, especially the huge front window, with triple-glazed glass. Ah, I can dream ....)
