I. Am. TALKING TIRED!

Today is over. I'm so glad. 

Tomorrow, however, is yet to arrive, and it will be a bear. 

I'd like to stay awake to watch Game 3 of Chicago vs. San Francisco, but I don't think I'll be able to.

As it happened, Tuesday kind of sucked as well, although all props to my editor for putting up with me. Tonight is going to be less than optimal, too, because I have a union meeting to attend, and I have no idea what might go on there - but I got through Monday and Tuesday. I hope you did too, my dear!

They went on to lose that game in fine Cubs fashion, dragging defeat from the jaws of victory. On the other hand, they won last night (thanks, undoubtedly, to my clever tactic of not watching the game at all; magical thinking FTW!) so they're in the Pennant, and that's good. Why doesn't anyone call the NL and AL finals Pennants anymore, I wonder?

You are so very right. But by virtue of brilliant magical thinking on my part - I didn't watch it - they won Game 4. I must do more of the same so they'll win the Pennant.
