Hurrah! Time Off!

I've come to treasure the weekends even more than I once did, largely because of my boss, but this weekend is particularly sweet as a remedy for the crazy week I had. And I'm about to make good use of it. I'm just about ready to take off and get an oil change for the car, then dash up to get my nails done, and then, with luck, attend an art fair with a friend. 

Lord, it makes me look positively Middle Class White Lady. Try to forgive me for that, eh?

Thanks - I know intellectually that there's nothing to forgive. Knowing it in my bones is something else indeed. However, I got the car's oil changed, and I now have manageable nails (when they were longer, they looked quite elegant indeed, but even with my improving skills at typing whilst benailed, they were getting too long.) My friend and I also went to the art fair, where I bought a cross stitch kit that will allow me to create a rude and cheeky cross stitch artwork. I bought it with the idea that I could keep my fingers occupied with something vaguely creative even when I couldn't write or post; we'll see if I actually will ever get around to doing it.

I am, but I ended up getting back from the art fair a little early, because the heat and humidity and walking did me in more than I expected. Ah, the dangers of being a couch potato.

Really, it depends on why you are doing it. Perhaps you are shop lifting them to use in making a broth. Seems fine to me.

How are you about corgis? They're not really small, and they're not very fashionable, except if one happens to be the Queen.

Corgis just don't look like a food item. Perhaps if they were made of marzipan... but that is just silly.

Somewhere in this world there are marzipan corgis. At which real corgis, I am certain, stare soulfully and disapprovingly.
