I am counting the days until Tucker Carlson is accused of sexual assault by an inexorable wave of women and/or men. And Lindsey Graham, and Orrin Hatch, and every hysterical senator on that panel. They wouldn't be screaming so loudly if they weren't also guilty of the same crimes.
You know, I hadn't thought about it that way. I simply interpreted it as a bunch of old white guys recognizing that they had to beat down uppity women who were challenging their general institutional patriarchal privilege. But yeah, you may very well be right. Guilty consciences do prick, and make one squeal.
It is the second time I am linking an article from the CBC, which I do not believe is viewable in the USA, but it is the only link I have to this political cartoon. Perhaps someone with better googlefu can find a better link.
You don't have to apologize! In this case, I was able to see the cartoon perfectly well; I am impressed with it, even as I recognize that it could trigger rape survivors. The cartoonist also acknowledges that, which I appreciate. I'm proud that this came from my home province paper.

p.s. I agree that the comparison to a snarling insectivore is unfair to the insectivore.
