Just like Chuck Berry said; or at least we're one flight from Chicago. Sitting here in Toronto's Billy Bishop airport, awaiting a 1:07 p.m. or so call to our plane. 

It was a wonderful trip. More, when I'm home.

Oh, I love this description. One of the joys of my infrequent flights is watching the various permutations of clouds as I fly above them, whether that's the herringbone patterns of some, or the milky, foggy swirls of others.

My birth was induced so I was old enough to fly (at the time they required 6 weeks) and I've flown many a time. The only part I enjoy is the clouds, and they are quite lovely.

Wow. That's ... remarkable.

I love travelling, even thee lengthy layovers at airports. My Best Beloved, on the other hand, loathes it. We both love the clouds, however.

Indeed, your comment makes me ponder whether it's really true -- no witnesses left alive. My professor father-with-a-Fulbright would certainly have felt comfortable bossing around my non-professor mother, but that does seem extreme.

I'm glad to say I've never been in a crash or even an emergency landing. My worst airplane trip ever was Copenhagen to Vagar. The prop plane was full to the brim, and 89% of those onboard were downing alcohol to save money on the tariffs that awaited them in the Faroes. Very bumpy!

I'm so glad it was an awesome trip, honey! This made me smile! Hope you got a chance to rest up when you got home - because fun or not, traveling is exhausting!

Thanks; travel is exhausting, isn't it? It took a few days to recover from the jet lag, since Nova Scotia is two hours ahead of Chicago, but I think we're back to whatever counts as normal chez KathBob.
