The Dangers of Feeling Good About Monday

Well, at least the dangers of feeling good about a reasonably productive Monday, that being the risk of falling into despair when Tuesday is nothing but online solitaire or something of that sort. I suppose that having a productive Tuesday is the best route to take but oh, how that can be difficult. 

I'm getting to know my new computer, whose name I've altered slightly to Le Nouveau Lad, since a) a DC fan made gentle remonstrance (or at least wondered if the original sobriquet might portend a character with too much interest in surveillance) and b) I think it's probably better to gift my new kid with a name free of commercial hindrances. 

Maybe I should just call him Larry. Or Leonard. Or Louis. Things to ponder ....

Also, I need new icons.

Probably almost anything of my fannish delights - Who, Sapphire & Steel, several anime (maybe I should get some Dororo icons!), weird sayings ... the problem is that I have lots of icons, but nothing from more recent iterations of my beloved shows. I must think on it.

The problems with me being just a little flippant ... For some reason, I largely don't like male names starting with "L," Larry in particular. Leonard isn't topping my list, either. Although I do like Louis (it's one of my son's middle names), and Laurence/Lawrence.

It's obvious that I need to think more clearly and deeply on this subject.

I've actually known some good people with all the names I don't like; I never tell them that their name is an irritant, because the irritation is so minor.

Heh ... as I mentioned to sovay, I actually am not enamored of male names beginning with L. Perhaps I should call him Alexander?
